Then I would like to add that Cady has come on in leaps and bounds in her swimming ability and confidence since attending lessons with yourselves. She previously went to Denton baths and had 30 lessons and her ability never developed. She was getting quite despondent and not wanting to go, this from my water baby!! However, since being with yourselves, she’s excited to come, smiles going in and coming out and loves telling anyone who’ll listen about lessons with you and her fab teacher. So huge thank you to you all x

Hi Lauren,

Abbie wont be carrying on with lessons after this block, shes done her silver and is a better swimmer than me now.We want to say thank you to you, Ash and Vicky for all your hard work. She was frightened of the water when she first came to you and you have helped make her the confident swimmer she is today. You are all great and If anyone asks me where to send their child for lessons I will point them your way.

Greater Manchester Army Cadet Force

Dear Pamela and Pool Staff

May I take this opportunity once again to extend my thanks for the support you and the pool staff provided during our swimming competition on 13th September 2014. The Army Cadet Force motto is ‘Inspire to Achieve’, and fulfilling our sport activities delivers such opportunity for our cadets. The cadets, both boys and girls attend units across the whole Manchester Region. Eight of the cadets who attended the competition were selected at the Regional competition held at Ellesmere Park on the 27th September 2014. The eight cadets will travel down to Sandhurst Military Academy this Friday to compete in a National competition.

From the staff and cadets of Greater Manchester Army Cadet Force, thank you once again for supporting the youth of Manchester.

Yours sincerely,

R Macdonald

Loretto College

Didn’t get chance to chat with you at the end of the gala the other day… Just wanted to say how much myself and the girls enjoyed the gala the other day and how well organised it was (as usual), so just a huge thank you from us really! Just received the medal also so thank you for that as well. If you could pass this message on to Wright Robinson that would be great.

Thanks again!

Denton Netball Club

Just a quick email to say what a pleasure it was coming to Wright Robinson yesterday and seeing all the school taking part in the tournament. I have many of my club players at Wright Robinson and it was nice to see them putting something back into netball via their umpiring. Every school was very complimentary in the way young leaders conducted themselves, politeness, helping and ensuring the children enjoyed the day.

Many Thanks Again

 Hazel Grove Sub Aqua Club

Thanks again for helping us out, your staff and facilities are one of the best we have experienced and I will have no hesitation in recommending Wright Robinson to other people.

If your pool was deep enough for diver training I would be recommending our club switch.

Hazel Grove Sub Aqua Club.

Wright Robinson boasts an excellent pool facility which is bright, clean and well maintained.

The staff are friendly and helpful and the sessions we hold there are popular and thoroughly enjoyed by the participants and the instructor alike.

Thank you for yesterday and opening up early for us in the morning so we could get everything set up.

I have received numerous emails saying how much the clubs and gymnasts had  enjoyed the event and the day.

Kind Regards,

A friend of mine already uses your swimming lessons for her daughter (5 years old) and she is very impressed with the service you provide and her daughter is enjoying it very much.

Hi I would just like to say how impressed I am with how well my daughter has come on with her swimming after only being with you for a few weeks.

Hosts of the ‘World’s Biggest Chess Tournament

The Wright Robinson Sports College was chosen as the venue for the Northern Giga Final (semi- final) of the world’s biggest chess tournament.

Over 800 players, competed over 2 days.

There was more than ample car-park spacing.

 Excellent playing facilities.

More than adequate leisure area both players between games & their accompanying parents & siblings.

The excellent staff also provided for the non-playing youngsters  big air-balls for them to climb into and race round a staff controlled circuit through large inflated archways.

Any issues that arose were quickly dealt with by the very efficient and caring staff.

The question is ” would we hold the event there again”well I have already booked it.

Many thanks.

This request to acknowledge outstanding behaviour , above and beyond job description and duty, goes to a gentleman called Luke. Whom I believe is the manager at Wright Robinson? I’m sorry I do not know his surname.

It is due to a potentially horrendous situation that occurred after a North West Netball  training session at Wright Robinson 3 Wednesdays ago. Which my 15 year old daughter attended.

I was stuck in a  traffic jam for nearly 2 hours, and was unable to arrive on time to collect Taylor at 10pm. A situation completely out of my control.

I contacted Karen Greig , the head coach, and Taylor, my daughter,  at approximately  9pm, and left messages on their mobile phones to warn them about the delay. I heard nothing from either of them, as I assumed they were both  partaking in the training session that night.

After several texts and calls , after 10pm, between myself and Taylor, reassuring her we are on our way, she then  called me at 10.30pm in tears to say that she WAS stood on her own , the building was empty, and “a man” needs to lock up and switch lights off etc… She was told that she would have to wait OUTSIDE THE BUILDING, as he needed to secure the building.

The distress this caused, for both myself and Taylor was immeasurable . She’s 15 years of age and should not have been left on her own at the end of the training session. A situation that has now been resolved satisfactorily by North West Netball.  A situation that won’t happen again to any athlete.

The  male member of staff, (Luke) was locking up saw how frightened and upset Taylor was. (It was almost 10.45pm when we arrived). Luke basically kept my daughter safe from harm , he dutifully stood outside with her until we arrived!

My daughters safety and well being was completely compromised, but a member of your staff, Luke, took charge of a potentially dangerous situation, took responsibility, and ensured that Taylor was not vulnerable, and kept her safe until we arrived.

I respectfully request that the management of M18 acknowledge this response, from a member of your staff, whom I will be forever indebted.

I look forward to hearing from you about this incident, and your thoughts on this chivalrous act.

I would really appreciate it too, if you could forward this email to the gentleman concerned.

Thank you for employing such wonderful, genuine staff!

Dawn Cullen
