Wright Robinson hosts Level 4 Sainsbury’s School Games

 Level 4 Activation Day

Manchester City Council, in partnership with Wright Robinson College, played host to local Primary Schools participating in the Sainsbury’s School Games 2014 Level 4 Sports Activation Day,  on Wednesday 25th June 2014.

Selected primary schools were invited to attend a coaching session aimed at year 4/5 pupils  as a token of our appreciation for their continued support for school sport. The menu of sports include: Football, Netball, Cricket, Athletics, Softball, Tennis, BMX/Go Ride and more….

Rob Vickerman, Rugby Sevens  attended the activation day and the children were able to interview him. Wright Robinson Year 9 Young Leaders officiated at the event and were praised for their excellent support for all the participants.

I didn’t hear anything mentioned today formally thanking you, but I do hope you’re very proud of the day. It was well ran, enjoyable and a credit to you and the school.

Mr da Costa :Higher Openshaw Primary School re Level 4 School Games Activation Day

I just want to say many thanks for yesterday. The children had a great time and it was so well organised. I would also like to mention one of  your Year 9 students who is an absolute credit to your school. Lewis  was great with all our Year 4 children. He was caring, kind and so helpful. He gave excellent support  to the children, especially to one who couldn’t ride a bike. Lewis was cheering them on and supporting them to take their feet off the ground. I cannot stress what a great asset Lewis  is to your school.

Many thanks once again for a great time yesterday.

Kind regards

E.da Costa
