College Bus Services
Bus Pass Information
Students can pay a fare to the driver (see below) for each journey or, for better value, purchase a TfGM weekly pass for £7.40.
- Single Ticket (without igo) – £1.80
- igo Single Ticket – £1.40
- igo Return Ticket – £2.40
All students aged 11-16 must have an ‘igo Pass’ which costs £10 to prove they are entitled to a concessionary (reduced) fare on all school services. If students do not have an IGO pass, they will have to pay a higher fare. Click the igo pass button below for more information.

Stagecoach service 7 – Stockport, Portwood, Reddish, Gorton, Fairfield, Droylsden, Ashton Moss, Ashton
Additionally, specific schoolday only services also serve the school as follows:
Stagecoach service 703 – Monsall, Miles Platting, Ancoats, Beswick, Clayton, Openshaw
Stagecoach service 704 – Harpurhey, Moston Vale, Newton Heath, Clayton, Droylsden
Stagecoach service 705 – Denton, Dane Bank, Reddish, Belle Vue, Gorton
Stagecoach service 172/706 – Levenshulme, Ryder Brow, Gorton (*Fares on this route are set by the operator and not as opposite)
Stagecoach service 768 – Littlemoss, Droylsden
Yellow School Bus:
Service Y23 – Levenshulme, Longsight, Ardwick
(Only students with a valid Yellow School pass and a valid IGO pass can travel on this service).
Timetables - Transport for Greater Manchester
System One Passes
System One passes allow use on the school bus services as well as all other bus services within Greater
Manchester for the duration of the ticket. Tickets may be used after school and at weekends where applicable and offer better value than purchasing additional tickets at the weekend. An IGO card is required.
1 Day Any Bus Junior – £2.90 – available from the driver
7 Day Any Bus Junior – £9.50 – available from the driver
28 Day Any Bus Junior – £34.00 – must be purchased at TfGM Travelshops or Pay Point locations.
Changes to schoolday only services from 1 September 2019
Service 702 will be replaced by service Y23 which will be operated via Belle Vue and start from Levenshulme.
Service 703 will be amended to start from Monsall and run via Beswick before the existing route.
Service 704 will be amended to start from Harpurhey and run via Moston Vale before the existing route. Only one bus will now operate on this service due to low usage.
Service 706 will be amended to run afternoon only, students travelling in the morning can use service 172.
ROADWORKS: HYDE ROAD
From late January 2020, Manchester City Council is undertaking a major widening scheme on Hyde Road. This will inevitably cause some inconvenience to travel to and from Wright Robinson College. We will do our best to keep you updated.
