Dear Parent/Carer

The Governments Free School Meal Voucher Scheme, facilitated by Edenred, will continue to support families eligible for Free School Meals.

It is no secret that Edenred have endured significant problems issuing eCodes and eGift cards to families nationally. The College has worked tirelessly to provide Edenred, with all the relevant email addresses of families eligible for free school meals and will continue to do so.

From Friday 15th May 2020, all parents/carers who are eligible for free school meals will begin to receive a new eCode from Edenred Uk. Parents/Carers will be able to redeem the eCode to the value of £60 (£15 per week) per child for a four-week period. Unfortunately, the Department for Education have not yet confirmed if the free school meal scheme will be inclusive of the May half term holiday (Monday 25th May – Friday 29th May 2020).

Please allow up to seven working days for your email to arrive from Edenred. We have been made aware that many emails containing the eCodes have found their way into Junk/trash/spam folders in addition to the inbox folders of email addresses. Therefore, we kindly request that you check all, Inbox, Junk, Trash/Spam folders for the email.

Should any family still experience difficulty in accessing the eCodes please email the college at and we will continue to try and resolve any issues.

For those parents/carers who have not been able to provide the college with an email address the college will again post the eGift card out to you as soon as possible.

I appreciate that these are unprecedented times and I once again thank you for your continued support.

Yours faithfully,

Mr M Haworth
