Geography Field Trip to Blackpool
Year 10 Geography students enjoyed some investigative action outside of the classroom on a three day coastal field trip to Cleveleys last week. They carried out experiments to calculate the direction of longshore drift which involved measuring the sand on either side of a groyne and timing the movement of an orange! Alongside this they learned and practiced how to measure the wind speed and wind direction. Great team work!
