HEADTEACHER’S BLOG – 17.07.20

As the curtain falls on the 2019-2020 academic year I would like to take this opportunity to thank all parents, carers and students for all of your hard work throughout the last eleven months. Thank you for all of the support that you have shown to me and the staff and particular thanks to those of you who have written to me personally to thank the college for everything that we have done this year. It has been refreshing to receive so many positive messages.

I would also like to publicly thank my dedicated staff who have shown an unparalleled commitment to provide the best possible education at all times regardless of the circumstances.

Our ‘Team’ ethos has shone through and we have continued to demonstrate what makes Wright Robinson College the special place that it is.

I hope that this summer’s examination results bring the rewards that our Year 11 students deserve and wish them well for the future. I think this year more than ever before our successes can be judged on much more than external examination results. Together we have supported the most vulnerable within our community and worked together to overcome all adversity.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all well for the holiday. Enjoy the break, please stay safe and I look forward to seeing all of our students back on the campus in September.
