The college operates a house system. There are six houses: Parks (Orange), Darwin (Blue), Shakespeare (White), King (Purple), Pankhurst (Yellow) and Curie (Red).
Students collect house points for working hard in class and completing homework. House points are also awarded for other activities that students participate in and for the inter-house competitions across different subjects held throughout the year. The House point competition culminates at the end of the academic year in July with the college sports day.
House points are published each week and each term students achieving the highest number of house points are awarded a certificate with the chance of winning additional prizes.
In 2018-19 Luther King House was the best performing house throughout the year. As a reward a pizza delivery will be enjoyed by all staff and students belonging to Luther King House in the Auditorium!
