We would like to let you know about our new and exciting challenge for National School Sport Week 2021 which will run from Monday 21st June to Friday 25th June.

The challenge is called Wright Robbie to Tokyo.  As you know this year the Olympic games will be taking place in Tokyo and our challenge for team Wright Robinson is to collectively travel the distance from Manchester to Tokyo which is 5867miles.  There are a number of ways that you could do this for example walking, cycling, running, taking part in a sporting activity etc.  You can record your steps/ distances on any smart watch, pedometre or apps such as Strava or Apple Fitness.  Pupils at Wright Robinson will hand their scores in to their period 1 teacher daily and any other member of that household can forward their results in to Tokyo@wrightrobinson.co.uk.  It would be a fantastic achievement if this distance was completed.

Let’s do this Team Wright Robbie!!
