YEAR 6 GRADUATION DAYS

Dear Parent/Carer

Year 6 Graduation Days

I hope that you and your family are keeping well during these challenging times. Your child is due to start their next phase of his/her education at Wright Robinson College in September. When I wrote to you in March I told you about our transition arrangements. The Graduation Days were due to take place on the 6th and 7th July with parents’ meetings scheduled on the same dates.

In light of the current uncertainty I have taken the difficult decision to cancel the aforementioned Graduation Days and plan for alternative arrangements.

Like everyone, we do not know how long the lockdown will last so any future plans could still be subject to change. However, as things stand now your child will be invited to a year 7 Induction Day at the college on Wednesday 2nd September 2020. Further details about the arrangements for that day will be posted to you nearer the time but I am writing now to ask you to please put this date in your diary.

Please be assured that here at Wright Robinson we will do all we can to ensure that your child’s transition from primary to secondary school runs as smoothly as possible.

We look forward to welcoming your child in September. Stay safe.
Yours sincerely

Mr M E Haworth Headteacher
